So apparently this is kind of an issue in mmorpgs now days. How many people pay attention to the lore, or the background story of the game? Every mmorpg you come across will have a nice fairy tale story, be it that youre so far deep in war that you cant even smell your own crap, or that life is just overrun by furry little bunnies and someone needs saving, but with the heavy competition between players, who the hell is gonna care about why they just murdered a whole clan of centaurs. Players now a days seem to focus more on the end game and fighting other players that theres no time to bother with the story. Or some people just dont care at all (I pledge guilty). However there are several players that still get WAY into the lore and care about the storyline of the game, using that to enhance their game play experience. Ironically, though, those players are often seen as geeks or losers for getting too into the game. So how important is the lore of the game? Several games manage with out much lore, and others thrive cuz of the stories. Some people choose mmorpgs based off of the theme and some just play whatever their friends play.

But besides that Im a fine arts major hoping to become a game designer. My gods are Blizzard and SquareEnix and I hope to join these gods one day to create the next EPIK game.
I have been studying art for about 15 years now, and Ive begun to focus in on game art around middle school. Ive played a multitude of games throughout my life and I plan to only continue.
But hey, what DO i do when im not playing videogames, doing art, or studying? Im probably watching tv. Haha.....
